About the Director of Construction Role:
This role will be responsible for setting the stage for future years – and even decades – of success in North Carolina. Though you will have autonomy, you will not be alone on an island. You will be provided with the tools, resources, and support you require to lead a successful division. The Director manages the overall construction of a project, ensuring that it’s completed on time, within budget, and to the expected standard. Their responsibilities include:
- Project supervision: Overseeing project executives and project managers
- Budget management: Reviewing budgets, forecasting, and making financial decisions to ensure the project’s profitability
- Contract review: Reviewing contracts and technical information
- Client Development: Single-Source Client Solutions Advocate
- Risk management: Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks
- Delegation: Delegating work to senior colleagues and their teams
Location: Based out of Charlotte, NC
