Position: Estimator in East Texas
Estimator – Motivated, experienced, and skilled Estimator who will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.
They are interested in a sharp, driven individual who is organized, detail oriented, able to work well with others, and meet deadlines

Essential Functions of an Estimator:
- Oversee project estimate preparation, ensuring completeness and accuracy of subcontractor bids.
- Manage multiple bid projects, providing superintendent oversight for timely and quality completion.
- Lead the team to achieve successful and profitable project awards.
- Establish and maintain excellent client relationships and effective working relationships with project stakeholders.
- Review plans and architectural drawings, preparing quantity take-offs for assigned projects.
- For negotiated work, conduct a comprehensive review of plans, identify omissions, and ensure accurate accounting in the estimate package.
- Solicit subcontractor bids, obtaining bids for each trade and supplier group, and analyze bids for conformance.
- Follow approved estimating practices consistent with company guidelines.
- Maintain knowledge of trends and changes in construction codes to ensure complete bids.
- Utilize software programs for estimating and track estimates, attending client meetings as requested.
- Review data to determine material and labor requirements, computing cost factors and preparing estimates.
