Essential Functions of a Preconstruction Leader:
- Oversee project estimate preparation, ensuring completeness and accuracy of subcontractor bids.
- Lead the team to achieve successful and profitable project awards.
- Obtain necessary permits, define project scope, allocate resources, contract management, and ensure smooth transition into the construction phase by coordinating with various teams and providing clear project direction throughout the preconstruction stage.
- Establish and maintain excellent client relationships and effective working relationships with project stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of trends and changes in construction codes to ensure complete bids.
- Utilize software programs for estimating and track estimates, attending client meetings as requested.
